Thursday NIGHT MINISTRY 6:45-8:30 P.M.
The Junior High Ministry is our Thursday night group where students can gather to learn more about who God is, what His Word is and what is says, and what His plan for their lives. Our mission is to make and mobilize disciples to glorify God by teaching them to love God and love others, and within our youth group there are many components that help accomplish this mission.
- TEACHING GOD’S WORD: We believe firmly in the power of God’s Word. That’s why we teach it every single week.
- PRAISING OUR GREAT GOD: Together as a group, we strive to show the worth of God by praising Him with our mouths and honoring Him with our hearts. Our worship team seeks to lead students to a place of authentic praise and passion for God.
- PEER TO PEER RELATIONSHIPS: As junior high students grow up, it is our desire to encourage them in their walk with Christ. Mentors are committed to caring for students, praying for them, and challenging them to live out their faith every day. Each week students break out into small groups to discuss the lesson, get to know each other, and encourage one another through prayer.
EVENTS/SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
In addition to the Thursday night youth group, we also provide events for stronger students to grow their in their relationships with one another through events and service projects. Our mission is to make disciples of Christ who
WORSHIP Jesus Christ in public and in private, who
WALK with Jesus Christ with their lives, and
WORK for Christ with action.
Once we see how our amazing God has changed our lives, it is critical that we share the Good News with others. Some events that we do are work trips, local serving opportunities in our community, serving in our church, WinterFest, Green Means Go! (summer mission trip), and Camp Harvest!
SUNDAY EVENING DISCIPLESHIP
We want nothing more than for students to surrender their life and follow Jesus Christ.
FUEL is a weekly discipleship class that meets in order to challenge and teach students to follow Him in every way: in their WORSHIP, their WALK, and in their WORK.
