Adult Ministries

At Harvest, the mission of Adult Ministry is to make mature disciples of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:28-29; Ephesians 4:11-16). 

After accepting Christ as our Savior, the next step is growing to be more like Him. To fill our lives with the knowledge and wisdom of His Word, to develop godly character, to walk in obedience, and to make choices that please Him–this is what it means to be mature.

To fulfill this mission, we focus our efforts in three main areas: Small Groups, Men’s Ministry, and Women’s Ministry.

Small Groups - Doing Life Together

A common phrase around Harvest speaks much about our passion for community. That phrase is "doing life together."

In the midst of community, the early church experienced God growing them toward maturity in their discipleship. And we want to reflect that type of community in our church. For this reason we encourage and challenge each person who considers Harvest their home church to become a part of a Small Group.

Men's and Women's Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry complement the work that is being done in the Small Groups to further accomplish our mission. These ministries provide retreats, regular gatherings, and gender-focused Bible Application Groups to address specific areas that affect men and women respectively.

Adult Ministry Bible studies incorporate teaching, prayer, and counseling to supplement our three main ministries to help achieve our mission of making mature disciples of Jesus Christ.
